Questions about this item

How can I confirm the headphones are working correctly after plugging them in?

Play audio and verify sound comes through both earcups at a comfortable level that never exceeds 85 decibels, with stereo output across the 20 Hz to 20 kHz range.

What comes in the box and is anything else needed to use them?

The package includes the headphones and a snap-on extension band for a snugger fit on smaller children; the attached 4 ft cord ends in a mini-phone plug so no separate cable or batteries are required.

Which version should I choose for a child aged three or older?

This single blue model is designed for ages three and up, has a volume limit of 85 decibels, 32 ohm impedance and a 1.18 inch driver, so no other capacity or version needs to be selected.
