For young listeners

Ergoguys KIDS-BLK headphones are built for children aged three and up. A single-piece EVA foam construction makes them flexible, non-toxic and BPA-free. Volume is capped at 85 decibels to protect developing ears. A snap-on extension band is included for a secure fit on smaller heads.

Upgrade from basic earbuds

These headphones replace loose-fitting earbuds or unguarded audio sources that can exceed safe listening levels. The 85 dB limit and over-the-head design make the jump worthwhile whenever a child uses a tablet, phone or computer for extended periods. Durable foam survives drops and twisting better than plastic alternatives.

Suits parents and teachers

Ideal for home learning, classroom use or travel where volume safety and durability matter. Not suited for listeners who want higher volume output, audiophile sound quality or wireless connectivity. Buyers needing a detachable cable or folding design should look at other models.

Questions about this item

Will the 4 ft cord reach a device on a desk while a child sits on the floor?

The cord measures 4 ft, which typically spans the distance from a seated child to a nearby tablet or laptop on a low table.

How do I attach the snap-on extension band for a smaller child?

Align the band's clips with the headphone slots and press firmly until each side clicks; the band shortens the headband for a secure fit on younger users.

What part should I check if the 85 dB volume limit seems louder over time?

Inspect the inline volume-limiting circuitry and the mini-phone connector for debris or damage, as these control the maximum output level.
