Critical Specification

The tabletop features a 1-1/4 inch thick laminate surface and requires a separate base for assembly. Top and base are sold separately, so a compatible base must be sourced to complete the unit.

Fit and Alternatives

This top suits buyers who need a round mahogany surface for a conference setting and already have or plan to purchase a matching base. It does not suit buyers who want an all-in-one table or a different finish.

Questions about this item

How does the 48-inch diameter work in a real meeting room?

The 48-inch round top seats four to six people comfortably and leaves enough clearance for chairs to pull in without hitting walls or each other.

What does the 87000 series laminate surface handle in daily use?

The 1-1/4-inch thick laminate resists scratches, spills and heat from coffee cups, so the mahogany finish stays clean through heavy meeting schedules.

What does the tabletop need to stand on?

Top and base are sold separately, so you must add a compatible Lorell base or another support rated for a 48-inch round top.
