Ergonomic mouse tray add-on

The Ergotron 77-050-180 is a sliding mouse platform designed to attach to compatible keyboard arms or pivots. It is not a stand-alone unit and must be ordered with a supporting arm system. The tray suits left or right-handed users by sliding to either side. A wrist rest holder adjusts for individual comfort during long sessions.

Steel frame stability

Sturdy steel construction keeps the platform rigid under daily use without flex. The sliding mechanism operates smoothly on the fixed mount, adding negligible friction or wobble. No moving parts require lubrication or generate audible noise in normal office conditions. Power draw is zero because the accessory is entirely passive.

Mount-dependent convenience

The tray installs only on Ergotron keyboard arms or pivots sold separately, so buyers must already own or purchase a compatible arm. Without that mount the unit cannot be used on a desk surface. Adjustable wrist rest positioning lets each user set height and angle once, then leave it fixed. The steel finish resists scratches from mouse feet and daily cleaning.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 77-050-180 mouse tray to an existing keyboard arm or pivot?

The tray slides onto a compatible keyboard arm or pivot that is not bundled with a keyboard tray; it is not a stand-alone product and requires that existing mounting hardware for installation.

What parts of the mouse tray may need adjustment or replacement over time?

The wrist rest holder is adjustable for ongoing comfort, and the slide mechanism that allows left or right positioning may require occasional lubrication or tightening to maintain smooth operation.

What limits how far the mouse tray can extend during sustained daily use?

The slide travel is constrained by the length of the host keyboard arm or pivot rails, so the maximum reach is determined by that existing hardware rather than the tray itself.
