Security Bracket Kit for Ergotron Carts

The Ergotron 97-735 Security Bracket Kit anchors compatible device-management carts to a floor or wall. It supplies a 3.3 ft steel cable, a master combination padlock and mounting hardware for a fixed installation. The kit suits IT teams securing shared laptop or tablet fleets in open areas.

Upgrading from Unsecured Cart Placement

The bracket replaces reliance on cart weight or basic wheel locks alone. The jump is worth it when a cart must stay in one room overnight or in a public corridor where unauthorised movement is a risk. It is not for buyers who need to relocate carts between rooms daily.

Straightforward Mounting with Basic Tools

Installation uses the included hardware to fix the wall or floor bracket, then threads the steel cable through the cart bracket and padlock. The main snag is discovering that the mounting surface lacks suitable anchors for the supplied screws. Verify the substrate before drilling.
