CareFit Combo Extender

The Ergotron CareFit Combo Extender Short Snow is a mounting accessory designed for healthcare environments. It extends the reach of compatible CareFit carts and arms to position devices closer to the point of care. Clinical staff use it to adjust screens or peripherals during patient interaction. The white snow finish matches existing Ergotron CareFit equipment.

Sustained clinical positioning

The extender maintains a fixed position once set, supporting the weight of mounted devices throughout long shifts without drifting. Its rigid construction resists vibration from cart movement across hospital flooring. The mechanism requires no periodic tightening or gas-spring adjustment during daily use. It holds the prescribed ergonomic angle from the first patient to the last.

Short reach constraint

The short length limits the maximum distance a device can be pulled from the mounting point. Workstations that need a longer lateral reach or higher vertical travel cannot use this model. Buyers needing greater extension must select a different CareFit extender variant. The part number 98648251 identifies this specific short configuration.
