It reads SD and microSD cards up to 1 TB and supports USB 2.0 flash drives up to 512 GB or USB 3.0 drives up to 128 GB. Apple MFi certification ensures compatibility with iOS 9.1 and later.

Plug-and-Play Setup and Common Issues

No drivers, Wi-Fi or network connection are required; the adapter works immediately on supported devices. A frequent issue is attempting to use USB 3.0 flash drives larger than 128 GB, which the reader cannot support. The Lightning charging port allows simultaneous charging and data transfer, but the iPhone charger itself is not included.

USB 5 Gbps Interface Limits

The USB interface provides up to 5 Gbps theoretical bandwidth, though actual speeds depend on the card and host device. Only standard photo formats such as JPEG and RAW plus common SD video formats are supported. OTG Android phones and computers with a USB port are compatible, but devices lacking OTG or the required iOS version will not work.
