Compact wireless IP camera for discreet indoor

The ESCAM Button Q6 is a 1.0 megapixel camera with a 3.6 mm lens that captures 720p video at 25 fps. It connects via 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and supports ONVIF 2.4.2 for integration with compatible recorders or software. A built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way audio, while infrared LEDs provide night vision in low light.

Replaces basic webcams

The jump is worthwhile when you need motion-triggered email alerts, local recording to a microSD card up to 128 GB, and live viewing from iOS 4.3 or Android 2.3 devices over P2P without a static IP. It does not suit buyers who need higher than 720p resolution, wider than 56.14° viewing angle, or outdoor weatherproofing.

Simple setup with screw bracket or adhesive

The camera measures 60 mm by 35 mm and weighs 85 g, mounting on walls or ceilings using the supplied bracket and screw. Power comes from a DC 5 V USB charger and cable included in the box. Common issues include positioning the unit too far from the router for a stable 802.11 b/g/n signal and forgetting to format the microSD card before first use.
