Compact security monitor

The ESCAM T08 is an 8-inch TFT LCD monitor with a 1024x768 resolution and a metal shell. It is built for CCTV surveillance, PC use or indoor monitoring where a small, dedicated display is required.

Multiple inputs for flexible integration

The unit accepts VGA, HDMI, AV, BNC and USB signals and supports both PAL and NTSC colour systems. A supplied bracket and remote control simplify mounting and day-to-day operation without extra peripherals.

Replaces bulky CRT or larger LCD units

The 870 g weight and 29 x 21 x 6.7 cm package size make it a direct space-saving upgrade for legacy analogue monitors. The jump is worthwhile when desk or rack space is limited and multi-format input compatibility is essential.

Questions about this item

How long can the 8-inch TFT LCD panel run continuously before heat becomes a concern?

The monitor draws DC 12 V at 1 A and weighs 870 g, so sustained operation is limited by its passive metal shell rather than an active cooling system.

What noise or temperature level should I expect when the screen stays on all day?

With no fan listed and a simple DC 12 V / 1 A supply, the unit runs silently and the metal chassis dissipates heat passively during continuous use.

Which cables or sources must I already have to connect this monitor to a CCTV system?

You need a video source with VGA, HDMI, AV or BNC output plus a DC 12 V / 1 A power adapter; the box includes the power supply, bracket and remote.
