Fastener Folders for Letter Documents

Pendaflex blue folders ship as a 50-box and use 11 pt stock with two embossed prong fasteners on each cover. The Super thin Lesspace design keeps the fastener profile low so folders stack tightly in a cabinet. An interior grid provides space for quick notes without extra sheets. Double-reinforced tops resist tearing at the tab edge.

Thermals Noise and Power in Normal Use

These are passive paper folders with no moving parts, electronics or power requirements. They generate no heat and produce no audible noise during everyday filing and retrieval. The lightweight 11 pt stock adds minimal mass to a drawer or shelf. No external energy source is needed for operation.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

Repeated opening and closing stresses the double-reinforced tops rather than the tab alone. The embossed fasteners stay flat so they do not snag adjacent folders during high-volume access. Grid lines remain legible after many writing cycles. The 50-count box supplies enough units for ongoing archival projects.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 2 prong fasteners embossed into the front and back covers without catching loose papers?

The smooth back on the Lesspace fasteners prevents them from catching onto loose papers or other folders during installation and daily use.

What maintenance or replacement will the reinforced tops need over time?

The long-wearing double-reinforced tops are designed for extended durability and typically do not require replacement under normal office use.

What limit appears first when the folder is filled to its 2 capacity prong fasteners under sustained use?

The 11 pt. stock and double-reinforced tops set the structural limit before the fasteners reach their 2 capacity.
