Pendaflex Legal File Jacket 50-Pack

These Pendaflex reinforced top-tab file jackets come in a 50-count box sized for legal documents. Each 11 pt. manila jacket is closed on three sides with a thumb-cut front for quick access. The double-ply reinforced tabs add durability for frequent handling. They are SFI certified and acid-free.

Expanding 2-Inch Capacity Jacket

The 2-inch expansion allows each jacket to hold significantly more paperwork than a standard flat folder. This upgrade is worth it when project files, contracts or case materials grow too thick for single-ply folders. The 0.15" folder thickness maintains structure even when fully expanded.

High-Volume Legal Filing

Suits offices, law firms and archives that manage large, growing legal-size document sets and need secure three-sided closure. Not suited for users who only need occasional letter-size filing or prefer ring binders for page-level organisation.

Questions about this item

How wide is the 2-inch expansion on the Pendaflex file jacket?

The jacket expands up to 2 inches to hold bulky legal-size files while the 11 pt. Manila stock keeps the sides rigid.

What is the correct way to load the thumb-cut front so papers don't slip out?

Insert documents from the top, then press them down behind the thumb cut; the three closed sides and double-ply reinforced top tab lock the stack in place.

When should the 0.15-inch thick Manila jackets be replaced?

Replace any jacket when the top tab creases, the thumb cut tears, or the expansion gusset no longer springs back, typically after heavy daily use.
