A 10 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable supporting 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz with 32.4 Gbps bandwidth, double shielding and solid copper conductors
Cable Length 10 Feet
This 10 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable connects a PC, laptop or other DP 1.4 source to a compatible monitor, TV or projector. It uses a male-to-male layout with solid copper conductors and double shielding. The 10 ft length suits setups where the display sits farther from the source. Buyers who need a shorter run or an angled connector should look elsewhere.
The cable is rated for 32.4 Gbps, a 50 % increase over the 1.2 generation, and maintains that throughput over the full 10 ft without signal loss. It delivers 8K at 60 Hz with 10-bit colour, RGB 4:4:4 and HDR, and 4K at 144 Hz with the same colour depth. DSC compression is supported for the highest modes. Builders who require lossless 8K above 60 Hz or uncompressed 4K beyond 144 Hz will exceed the link capacity.
The DP 1.4 standard caps the link at 32.4 Gbps, so 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz represent the practical ceiling for this cable. HDR, HDCP 2.2 and MST are carried within that budget. Both the source and the display must implement DP 1.4 for the top resolutions; older DP 1.2 ports fall back to lower modes. Users needing 8K above 60 Hz or 4K above 144 Hz must move to a newer interface generation.

Other versions of this model
The cable is passive and carries only video signals, so it produces no measurable heat and draws no additional power beyond the port's normal output.
Both devices need a standard DisplayPort 1.4 port; the cable plugs directly in with no adapters, drivers or external power required.
Yes, the cable is backward compatible and will run a DisplayPort 1.2 display at its native 4K 60 Hz limit without signal loss.
