Two-cable pack for iPhone fast charging

This twin-pack supplies two USB-C to Lightning cables, each three metres long and finished in blue nylon braid. They are built for owners of iPhone 14, 13, 12 and 11 series handsets who want a spare lead for home, office or travel. The cables carry Apple MFi certification so they charge and sync without compatibility warnings.

27W Power Delivery with E-Mark chip

The single specification that decides fit is the 27W Power Delivery rating backed by an E-Mark smart chip. This allows the cable to negotiate the full 27W when paired with a 27W or higher PD charger, reaching 50 percent charge on an iPhone 14 Pro Max in 29 minutes. Lower-rated chargers fall back to 25W or 20W automatically.

Thermals, noise and power draw

Passive cables generate no audible noise and add negligible heat during normal use. The 3A maximum current rating stays within USB-C thermal limits, so the connectors remain cool to the touch even at full 27W throughput. Power draw is determined entirely by the connected charger and device, with no overhead from the cable itself.

Questions about this item

What does the 27W rating deliver on an iPhone 14 Pro Max?

With a PD27W or higher charger the cable can push the iPhone 14 Pro Max to roughly 50% in 29 minutes, and it falls back to 25W or 20W if the adapter only supports those levels.

What does the USB-C to Lightning link cap at for data?

The cable runs at USB 2.0 speeds of 480 Mbps, so moving photos or backups between a laptop and iPhone is steady but not as quick as USB 3 links.

How long is each cable and what does that mean for desk or bedside use?

Each cable measures 10 ft, giving plenty of slack to reach a wall outlet from a sofa or nightstand without stretching.
