MFi Certified Lightning Cable

The ESTONE Essager CGI27W is a USB-C to Lightning cable built for iPhone users who need Apple MFi certification. It carries an authorised chip that prevents pop-up warnings and guarantees safe charging. The 6.6ft blue nylon-braided cable supports both power delivery and data transfer. It suits owners of iPhone 14, 13, 12, 11, X, XS, XR, 8 Plus and SE models.

USB-C PD Charging Integration

Connect the Type-C end to any USB-C Power Delivery charger rated from 18W to 87W to enable fast charging. The cable handles up to 27W at 3A maximum current and is backwards compatible with 25W and 20W PD profiles. It frees you from older USB-A chargers while keeping data sync at 480Mbps with a laptop or desktop. A PD charger of 27W or higher is required for the top charging rate.

C94 Connector Thermals

The updated C94 Lightning connector uses gold-coloured pins designed for higher current flow than the earlier C48 design. In normal use the cable delivers 27W fast charging without overheating, letting an iPhone 14 reach 60% in 30 minutes. The nylon braid resists heat build-up during sustained Power Delivery sessions. No active cooling or fan is involved in this passive cable assembly.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum power this cable can sustain before the 3 A current limit is reached?

The cable is rated for 27 W at 3 A, so the current limit is hit at the full 27 W power level.

Does the nylon braid and C94 connector keep the cable cool during all-day charging?

The cable uses a gold-pin C94 Lightning connector and nylon braid, but no temperature or heat-dissipation figures are provided.

Which USB-C power adapter must I already own to get 27 W fast charging?

You need a USB-C Power Delivery charger rated 27 W or higher, such as Apple's 27 W, 29 W, 61 W or 87 W adapters.
