Essager CGL 100W USB-C Cable

This ESTONE Essager CGL cable delivers up to 100W of Power Delivery through a USB-C to USB-C connection. The 90-degree elbow design keeps the connector clear of your hand while gaming or watching video. An integrated E-marker chip manages the 20V 5A current for safe fast charging. The 6.6ft nylon-braided length reaches wall outlets from a desk or sofa.

Right-angle users needing 100W PD

Buyers who want a right-angle cable that can charge laptops, tablets and phones at the full 100W rate will find this a match. The 90-degree plug reduces strain on the port during horizontal use. Users who require data rates above 480Mbps should look at a cable rated for USB 3 or higher. Anyone needing a straight connector or a shorter lead will prefer a different form factor.

480Mbps data transfer limit

The cable moves data at 480Mbps, the speed of USB 2.0, while carrying up to 100W of power. This specification decides whether the cord suits your workflow: fine for syncing phones, backing up documents or Android Auto, but not for moving large video libraries at multi-gigabit speeds.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 6.6ft blue cable or a different length for my setup?

This listing provides a single 6.6ft blue cable with a 90° elbow design. Select it if that length and right-angle connector suit your charging and gaming position.

What does the 100W rating actually deliver when I plug it into my laptop?

With a 100W PD charger the cable carries up to 20V 5A, enough to charge a MacBook Pro 16 in about 2 hours or a Samsung S20 to 80% in roughly 35 minutes.

Does the USB-C interface limit data speed or charging compared to newer standards?

The cable supports 480Mbps data transfer and 100W Power Delivery via its USB-C connectors; an integrated E-marker chip ensures safe negotiation at the full 5A current.
