Essager HCL100W 100W USB-C Cable Pack

This two-pack supplies two 3.3 ft USB-C to USB-C cables rated for 100 W power delivery at 20 V/5 A. Each cable uses a right-angle connector, an E-mark chip and a nylon-braided jacket over a 250D fiber core. Data transfer runs at USB 2.0 speeds of 480 Mbps.

Right-angle design suits gamers and multimedia users

The 90-degree plug keeps the cable out of the hand while playing, streaming or reading during charging. Buyers who need USB 3.0 or higher data throughput for large-file workflows should look elsewhere. The USB 2.0 link caps transfers at 480 Mbps.

100 W PD 3.1 power rating with E-mark chip

The single specification that decides fit is the 100 W USB Power Delivery 3.1 rating backed by an E-mark smart chip. It enables 20 V/5 A charging for laptops, tablets and phones that accept that profile, while the cable itself only carries USB 2.0 data.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the single cable or the 2-pack of 3.3 ft cables?

The product is sold as a 2-pack, so you receive two 3.3 ft USB-C to USB-C right-angle cables in one purchase.

What does the 100 W rating mean when I plug this into my laptop or phone?

The cable supports up to 20 V / 5 A (100 W) Power Delivery, so it can charge a MacBook Pro to 86 % or a Samsung S20 to 96 % in about 35 minutes when paired with a compatible 100 W charger.

Is this a USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 cable for video and fast file transfers?

No — it is a USB 2.0 cable limited to 480 Mbps data transfer, so it moves a 1 GB file in roughly 30 seconds but does not carry video or USB 3.x speeds.
