What this cable is and who it suits

The ESTONE Essager HCL100W is a USB-C to USB-C right-angle cable rated for 100W power delivery at up to 20V/5A. It supports PD 3.1, PD 4.0, QC 4.0 and QC 5.0 fast-charging protocols and carries USB 2.0 data at 480Mbps. Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The cable draws only the current negotiated by the attached charger and device, up to the 100W ceiling. An E-Mark smart chip and 56KΩ resistors manage the handshake so power flows smoothly without excess heat in the connectors. The aluminum-braided jacket helps dissipate any warmth that does appear during typical 30W to 65W charging sessions. No active cooling is present and the cable runs silently. Behaviour under sustained load rather than a short

During prolonged 100W delivery the E-Mark chip continuously monitors voltage and current to keep the link stable.
