Essager XJI 29 W USB-C to Lightning Cable

The Essager XJI cable delivers up to 29 W of power and 480 Mbps data transfer through a USB-C to Lightning connection. It is built for iPhone 11, 12 and 14 series users who need reliable fast charging and syncing. The two-pack provides a spare for home, office or travel use.

Aluminium housing with braided reinforcement

The connector shells are made from aluminium alloy and the cable uses a braided fishing-net jacket over a five-strand thickened core. Flame-retardant outer material reduces heat during high-current charging. Reinforced, lengthened strain reliefs resist repeated bending and keep the interface stable over time.

Replaces worn or slower Lightning cables

This cable upgrades from older 20 W or 27 W USB-C to Lightning leads by supporting 29 W PD charging, cutting iPhone 14 Pro Max charge time to roughly 29 minutes for 50 percent. It is not suited for devices that require USB-C to USB-C connectivity or higher wattage power delivery.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-C end deliver the full 29 W or does it fall back to 20 W?

The cable supports PD 29 W and is backwards compatible with PD 27 W and 20 W chargers, so it will draw up to 29 W when the power source allows it.

What length and connector housing should I check for case clearance?

Each cable is 3.3 ft long with an aluminium-alloy housing at both the Type-C and Lightning ends.

How do I avoid damaging the reinforced strain relief when I plug it in?

Grip the aluminium housing, not the braided cable, and insert straight; the lengthened net end distributes force but can still fail if you yank the wire.
