Essager XJI 29W PD cable

This ESTONE Essager XJI cable connects a USB-C power source to Lightning devices. It delivers up to 29W at 3A and transfers data at 480Mbps. The 6.6ft nylon-braided cord uses an Apple C94 connector with gold pins. Two cables are included in the pack.

Who this suits and who it does not

iPhone owners with a USB-C PD charger who want fast charging and reliable syncing will find this cable fits. Buyers whose devices use USB-C or Micro-USB ports cannot use the Lightning end. Anyone needing more than 29W of power delivery or faster than 480Mbps data rates should choose a different specification.

The specification that decides fit

The single deciding factor is the Lightning output interface combined with 29W Power Delivery support. If your device charges through Lightning and your charger supplies USB-C PD at 29W or above, this cable will provide the rated fast-charging speed. If either the port or the charger profile differs, the cable will not deliver the advertised performance.

Questions about this item

What does the 29W rating actually deliver when I plug this into my iPhone?

It enables Power Delivery fast charging up to 29W, so an iPhone 14 can reach about 60% in 29 minutes when paired with a 29W or higher USB-C PD charger.

The cable is rated at 480Mbps — what does that limit in daily use?

Data transfers run at USB 2.0 speeds, so moving large photo or video libraries takes longer than on a USB 3 connection, but charging performance is unaffected.

How long is each cable and will the plugs fit through a standard case opening?

Each cable is 6.6ft long and uses the newer C94 Lightning connector with gold pins, which is designed to fit the same port cut-outs as earlier Lightning plugs.
