Cable overview

The ESTONE Essager XJI is a USB-C to Lightning cable built for Apple devices that support Power Delivery fast charging. It carries Apple MFi certification and a built-in smart chip that regulates power delivery up to 29W at 3A maximum current. The 6.6ft nylon-braided jacket adds durability for daily connection and charging routines.

Compatibility notes

This cable suits iPhone 11 through 14 Pro Max models, plus AirPods Pro, when paired with a PD29W or higher charger for the fastest rates. It also works with PD27W and PD20W sources at their respective limits. Users who need faster than 480Mbps data transfers or who charge devices without a Lightning port should consider a different cable type.

Deciding specification

The single figure that determines fit is the 480Mbps transmission rate combined with 29W PD charging capability. If your workflow demands higher sync speeds or your charger cannot supply PD29W, this cable will not deliver the performance you expect.

Questions about this item

How does the 29W rating translate to real charging time on an iPhone 14 Pro Max?

With a PD29W or higher charger, the cable delivers up to 29W and can charge an iPhone 14 Pro Max to 50% in roughly 29 minutes.

What data-transfer speed does the 480Mbps rating actually provide?

The cable supports USB 2.0 speeds, giving a practical throughput of about 480Mbps for syncing photos, backups and files between your iPhone and a computer.

Does the USB-C to Lightning connector work with the PD27W and PD20W chargers I already own?

Yes. The cable is backwards compatible with PD27W and PD20W chargers, so it will fast-charge supported iPhones at the maximum rate those adapters allow.
