USB-A to USB-C 100W cable pair

This two-pack supplies two 6.6 ft USB-A to USB-C cables rated for 100 W power delivery and 7 A maximum current. Each cable includes a built-in E-Marker chip and an LED display that shows real-time power in PD or standard wattage modes. The transparent nylon sheath is tested to withstand more than 30,000 bend cycles.

USB-A port power ceiling

The USB-A connector limits total output to the host port capability, typically well below the cable 100 W rating. Fast charging at the advertised 100 W requires a USB-A charger or hub that can deliver 11 V at 7 A; most legacy USB-A ports provide only 5 V or lower current. The LED display will indicate PD mode only when the source negotiates the higher voltage.

100 W headroom for laptops and phones

At full negotiation the pair can charge a MacBook Pro to 90-100 % in 1.8 hours and bring a phone to 60 % in 30 minutes. Devices that draw more than 7 A or require voltages above 11 V will not reach their maximum charge speed. The cables handle any USB-C phone, tablet or laptop that operates within the 100 W envelope.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1 m or 2 m length in the two-pack?

The pack contains one 1 m and one 2 m cable so you get both a short cable for desk use and a longer 6.6 ft cable for sofa or bedside charging.

What does the 100 W rating mean when I plug this into my MacBook Pro?

It can deliver up to 100 W over USB Power Delivery, letting a MacBook Pro reach 90–100 % charge in about 1.8 hours and 60 % in 30 minutes.

How does the built-in E-Marker chip affect the USB-A to USB-C connection?

The E-Marker identifies the cable as a 7 A, 100 W PD-capable link so the host negotiates the full 11 V / 7 A profile instead of falling back to a lower power level.
