HDMI to Dual SDI Converter

The ESTONE HDMI2SDI converts a single HDMI source into two simultaneous SDI outputs for broadcast monitors or long cable runs. It accepts HDMI 1.3a input with embedded audio up to 1080p60 and auto-detects the required SD-SDI, HD-SDI or 3G-SDI standard. The compact unit operates without an external power supply and includes built-in ESD protection for reliable operation.

Check HDMI Source and Cable Type

Verify that your camera or playback device outputs one of the listed HDMI resolutions and frame rates such as 1080p at 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 Hz. The converter does not support bi-directional operation and cannot accept an SDI input. Ensure you have standard HDMI Type A cables and BNC coaxial cables rated for the intended SDI distance.

Replaces Single-Output Adapters and Extenders

This device upgrades workflows that previously required a separate distribution amplifier to feed two SDI displays. The jump is worth it when you need synchronised dual feeds over 100 metres at 3G-SDI or 200 metres at HD-SDI without signal degradation. It is not suited for users who need SDI-to-HDMI conversion or support for resolutions beyond 1080p.
