What this capture device does

The ESTONE OZC7 is a four-input HDMI capture box that records or streams up to 1080p at 60 frames per second over USB 3.0. It suits creators who need to switch between several cameras, consoles or PCs without unplugging cables.

Bundled cables and remote

A USB 3.0 to USB-A cable and a USB 3.0 to USB-C cable are included so the unit works with both port types on a computer or phone. An IR remote lets you change the active input or view mode from across the room.

The resolution limit that decides fit

The HDMI loop-out passes 4K at 30 Hz while the USB capture path tops out at 1080p 60 fps. If your workflow requires recording or streaming in 4K, this device will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Will the USB 3.0 port or the HDMI 1.4 connection be the first limit during a long recording session?

The USB 3.0 output caps at 1080@60fps while the HDMI pass-through handles 4K@30Hz, so the USB link reaches its ceiling first.

What heat or noise should I expect when the OZC7 runs all day?

The unit has no fan and draws power only from the USB 3.0 bus, so it stays silent and only warm to the touch.

Which parts of the ESTONE OZC7 will need replacement after heavy use?

Only the IR remote uses a replaceable coin cell; the capture box itself has no consumable components.
