Capture card for streamers and creators

The ESTONE OZC8 is a USB 3.0 and USB-C video capture device that records HDMI sources at up to 1080p 60 frames per second. It targets gamers, live streamers and content creators who need a simple way to bring console or camera footage into recording or streaming software on Windows, Linux or macOS.

Fits a streaming setup with loop-through and audio

One HDMI input accepts the source while a loop-out passes the signal to a display at 4K 30 fps. A built-in USB 3.0 cable connects to the host, and dual 3.5 mm ports let you inject microphone audio and monitor with headphones. Standard AWG26 HDMI cables up to 15 metres are supported for 1080p and lower resolutions.

Sustained capture without driver overhead

The device operates driver-free for plug-and-play reliability during long sessions. It maintains low latency while recording or streaming continuously, and the USB 3.0 bandwidth handles the 1080p 60 fps data rate without dropped frames. The aluminium body aids passive cooling during extended use.

Questions about this item

Does the capture card maintain 4K 60 Hz pass-through during long recording sessions?

The loop-out supports 4K at 30 FPS, not 60 Hz, so extended sessions will output at the lower frame rate.

How warm does the unit get and is there any fan noise when streaming all day?

The device has no fan and draws power from the USB 3.0 port, so it runs silently with only mild warmth during continuous use.

Which cables and software do I need to start capturing on a PC?

Use the built-in USB 3.0 cable and an HDMI cable up to 15 metres (AWG26); any UVC-compatible app such as OBS, VLC or Amcap works driver-free.
