3×2 HDMI Matrix Switch

The ESTONE OZJ5 connects three HDMI sources to two displays, letting each output show any input independently. It supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz with HDR and 3D formats. An IR remote and front-panel buttons provide switching control. Audio can be extracted through optical SPDIF or a 3.5 mm jack.

Sustained operation and thermal limits

The unit draws up to 600 mA from its 5 V DC supply while routing 18.5 Gbps signals continuously. It is rated for ambient temperatures from minus 15 °C to plus 45 °C. No active cooling is included, so ventilation around the enclosure matters during long sessions.

Cable length and bandwidth constraints

HDMI 2.0b bandwidth tops out at 18.5 Gbps, limiting 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 to roughly 10 metres with standard AWG26 cables. Longer runs need active or fibre cables not covered by the spec. EDID management is manual per input, so automatic format negotiation across mixed displays is not supported.
