3×2 HDMI matrix for multi-source setups

The ESTONE OZJ5 connects three 4K HDR sources to two displays and extracts audio through Toslink SPDIF or a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It suits installers who need independent routing to two screens from a single rack unit. Buyers who require more than three inputs or more than two outputs cannot use this matrix.

IR remote and front buttons with EDID control

Switching is handled by the included IR remote or the local push button; both change the input-output mapping instantly. The built-in EDID extractor lets each source negotiate its best format. The remote needs a AAA battery, which is not supplied, and very long cables beyond 10 m AWG26 may cause signal loss.

HDMI 2.0b bandwidth and distance limits

The switch passes 18.5 Gbps at up to 600 MHz TMDS clock, supporting 3840×2160 at 60 Hz with deep colour up to 48 bit and HDCP 2.2. Maximum reliable cable length is 10 m using AWG26 HDMI 2.0b cable; longer runs or higher refresh rates are not supported. Audio formats beyond LPCM 2.1 and Dolby/DTS 5.1 are not decoded.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the OZJ5 matrix is passing 4K@60Hz correctly after connecting my sources and displays?

Check that both connected displays report a 3840x2160@60Hz signal and that HDR or 3D content plays without dropouts; the front-panel LEDs show which of the three inputs is routed to each of the two outputs.

What cables and accessories are included with the OZJ5 and what must I provide myself?

The box contains the matrix unit and an IR remote; you must supply three HDMI source cables, two HDMI display cables up to 10 m AWG26, and a AAA battery for the remote.

The OZJ5 is a single 3-in 2-out model — how do I decide if this configuration fits my setup?

Choose this matrix when you have exactly three 4K sources such as a console, streamer and PC and need to route any of them independently to two displays or a display plus a projector.
