It handles video up to 7680×4320 at 60 Hz with DSC and passes up to 100 W of Power Delivery to each connected computer. Switching is done by a front-panel button with a three-second auto-scan option.

It suits users who move a single keyboard, mouse and high-resolution display between two USB-C hosts that support Thunderbolt 3 or 4 and need charging while they work. It does not suit setups that require simultaneous dual-monitor output, USB 3 or 10 Gbps peripheral bandwidth, or computers without USB-C video-alt-mode capability.
