Three-input HDMI 2.0 switch

The ESTONE OZQ2-1 connects three HDMI sources to a single display at up to 4K@60Hz with 18.5Gbps bandwidth. It supports HDR, HDCP 2.2 and 12-bit Deep Color for compatible consoles, streamers and Blu-ray players. A front-panel button and the included IR remote select the active input without unplugging cables. The metal enclosure measures 5.91 x 2.36 x .79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces.

Passive cooling and external power

The unit has no internal fan and draws power from the supplied adapter, so it adds no audible noise to a living-room setup. HDMI 2.0 signalling at 600MHz is handled by the switch circuitry without active thermal management. Typical power consumption stays low because the device only routes signals rather than processing video.

Sustained 4K@60Hz operation

During continuous playback the switch maintains a stable 18.5Gbps link without drop-outs or handshake resets. EDID and HDCP negotiations remain intact across input changes, so long sessions on a PS5, Apple TV or similar source stay uninterrupted. The metal chassis dissipates the small amount of heat generated by the transceivers, keeping performance consistent over hours of use.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 3x1 HDMI switch and what step is often missed?

Connect up to three source devices to the three HDMI inputs, connect the single HDMI output to your display, then plug in the included power adapter. The step often missed is powering the unit before switching sources.

What maintenance will the IR remote need later?

The remote uses a standard button cell; replace it when the LED no longer flashes or the switch fails to respond from normal viewing distance.

What is the first limit reached under sustained 4K@60Hz use?

The 18.5Gbps bandwidth ceiling is the first hard limit; signals requiring more than 18.5Gbps will not pass correctly.
