3-Port HDMI 2.0 Switch for 4K Displays

The ESTONE OZQ3-1 connects three HDMI 2.0 sources to a single 4K display. It suits owners of a PS5, PS4, projector or PC who need more input ports on their TV or monitor. The unit is new, driver-free and powered by the included 5 V adapter.

18.5 Gbps Bandwidth with HDCP 2.2

Each of the three inputs and the single output runs at 18.5 Gbps and supports HDCP 2.2, which is backward compatible to HDCP 1.0. This bandwidth ceiling decides whether 4K at 60 Hz with full 4:4:4 colour passes without compression or falls back to a lower mode.

Remote Switching and Auto-Sensing Under Load

A supplied IR remote selects the active port, and the switcher automatically jumps to the next live source when the current one drops out. LED indicators show the selected input during continuous operation, while 7.1-channel DTS and Dolby Digital audio pass through without added latency.

Questions about this item

What does the 18.5Gbps bandwidth mean for 4K 60Hz video?

It carries full 4K 60Hz RGB 4:4:4 at 36bit deep colour with HDR10, leaving headroom below the HDMI 2.0 18Gbps ceiling so there is no chroma subsampling or frame-rate drop.

How does HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 limit what I can play?

HDMI 2.0 caps video at 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 or 4K 120Hz 4:2:0; HDCP 2.2 is required for protected 4K streams and UHD Blu-ray, and the switch is backward compatible with HDCP 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 and 1.0 sources.

What space and power does the aluminium box need?

The unit measures 5.91 x 2.36 x 0.79 inches and weighs 11.9 ounces; it ships with a 5V power adapter and includes an IR remote, so allow room for the adapter and line-of-sight to the front sensor.
