What this switch does

The ESTONE OZQ5-2 connects four HDMI sources to one display, letting you toggle between consoles, streamers or PCs without unplugging cables. It is built for anyone who needs a single 4K screen to serve multiple devices.

The spec that decides fit

Bandwidth tops out at 18.5 Gbps over HDMI 2.0, so 4K at 60 Hz with HDR10 and HDCP 2.2 passes through cleanly. Anything demanding more throughput — higher refresh rates, deeper colour or newer copy-protection — will not work.

Capacity and headroom

Four inputs handle typical living-room setups: a game console, a media player, a set-top box and a PC. The switch runs out when you add a fifth source or need 4K beyond 60 Hz, at which point a larger matrix or a higher-bandwidth model becomes necessary.

Questions about this item

Will the 18.5 Gbps bandwidth carry 4K 60 Hz HDR without compression?

Yes — the 18.5 Gbps link matches the HDMI 2.0 spec and supports 4K at 60 Hz with HDR10 and 12-bit deep colour.

Does HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 allow protected 4K streams from current apps?

HDCP 2.2 on the HDMI 2.0 ports passes copy-protected 4K 60 Hz content from streaming boxes and consoles.

Will the 5.91 x 2.36 x 0.79 inch case fit behind a wall-mounted TV?

The slim 0.79 inch depth and included 5 V 1 A power adapter let it tuck behind most flat-panel mounts.
