Three-input 4K HDMI switch

The ESTONE OZQ6-2 is a new 3-port HDMI 2.0b switch that routes three HDMI sources to one display. It supports 4K at 60 Hz, HDR, 3D and HDCP 2.2 with 18 Gbps bandwidth. The unit draws power from the HDMI cables and includes a 3.9 ft cable in the box.

Buyers with three sources and one screen

This switch suits setups that connect a console, PC and streaming box to a single TV or monitor. It is not for installations that need to send one source to multiple displays or that require more than three inputs.

18 Gbps bandwidth ceiling

The 18 Gbps limit defines the maximum signal the switch can pass. It carries 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 12-bit, 4K 30 Hz and all lower HD resolutions. Signals that exceed 18 Gbps will not work through this device.

Questions about this item

Does the 18Gbps bandwidth limit 4K HDR sources to 8-bit colour under sustained use?

The switch supports RGB 8:8:8 (YUV 4:4:4) and 12-bit deep colour at 4K 60Hz within the 18Gbps bandwidth, so HDR sources keep full colour depth.

Will the HDMI-powered design overheat or add noise during all-day operation?

It draws power from the HDMI cables, has no fan and no external adapter, so it runs silently and stays cool during continuous use.

Which HDMI cables must I already own to connect three sources and one display?

You need four HDMI cables in total — three to link your sources to the three inputs and one to run from the single output to your TV or monitor.
