Three-input 4K HDMI switch

The ESTONE OZQ6-2 is a 3x1 HDMI 2.0b switch that lets you connect three sources such as a PS5, Xbox or PC to a single display. It handles 4K at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth and supports HDR, 3D and HDCP 2.2 for current gaming and home-theatre setups.

Passive operation and signal stability

The unit draws power directly from the HDMI cables so no external adapter is needed. The supplier notes that with only one active source some high-draw devices may lose signal; connecting three sources provides enough power for reliable switching without lag or distortion.

Included cable simplifies installation

A 3.9 ft 4K HDMI cable ships in the box, allowing an immediate connection between the switch and the display. The manual explains the front-panel select button and the power‑sharing behaviour so users can avoid the single-source dropout issue.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 3.9 ft HDMI cable and the three source devices into the 3x1 switch without losing signal on port 1?

Connect the included 3.9 ft cable to the single HDMI output, then plug each source into the three HDMI inputs; if port 1 drops signal due to low power, keep all three sources connected so the switch draws enough current from the combined HDMI lines.

What maintenance will the 18 Gbps HDMI 2.0b switch need over time?

No scheduled maintenance is required; the unit is powered entirely through the HDMI connections, so there is no external adapter or internal battery to replace.

At what point does the 250 MHz bandwidth limit appear during a long 4K 60 Hz gaming session?

The 18 Gbps / 250 MHz ceiling is reached whenever a source sends full 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 12-bit content; the switch simply passes the signal without compression, so sustained use does not introduce a new limit beyond the rated bandwidth.
