4x1 HDMI Switch with Audio Extraction

The ESTONE OZQ7 routes four HDMI sources to a single display while extracting audio through Toslink, coaxial and 3.5 mm outputs. It suits home-theatre owners who want to connect a console, streaming stick, Blu-ray player and PC to one TV or projector without swapping cables.

Audio outputs and ARC support

Coaxial and Toslink ports pass ARC return audio from a compatible display, while the 3.5 mm jack provides stereo extraction only. The switch passes Dolby True-HD, DTS-HD, AC3, DTS and DSD bitstreams without decoding them, so an external receiver handles surround processing.

4K@60 Hz bandwidth and cable limits

The unit handles 4K@60 Hz at YUV4:2:0 and lower resolutions up to 4K@30 Hz with 4:4:4 colour. HDMI 2.0 cables reach three metres at 4K@60 Hz and five metres at 4K@30 Hz; longer runs or DVI adapters are not supported.

Questions about this item

Will the 5V/1A power adapter need replacing over time?

The unit ships with a 5V/1A DC power adapter; if it fails you can source any 5V/1A replacement with the same barrel connector.

What bandwidth ceiling hits first during a long 4K@60Hz session?

The switch is rated for 18.5Gbps total bandwidth and 10.2Gbps per display channel, so the 10.2Gbps per-channel limit is the first bottleneck.

Does the box get hot or draw much power when left on all day?

It runs from a 5V/1A supply (5W max), has no fan, and the metal case stays warm but not hot during continuous operation.
