Bi-Directional USB 3.0 Switch

The ESTONE OZU3 is a bi-directional USB 3.0 switch that supports two operating modes. It lets two computers share one USB peripheral or one computer switch between two USB devices. Data transfer rates reach up to 5 Gbps when used with USB 3.0 cables and devices. A blue indicator shows the active channel and transfer status.

Ideal for simple desk setups

This switch suits home or office users who need to share a printer, keyboard, mouse or scanner between two PCs without unplugging cables. It requires no external power supply and works with Windows, Mac and Linux systems. Buyers who need to share more than two devices or require dedicated KVM video switching should look at a different product class.

Plug-and-play installation

Connect the included 3.9 ft USB 3.0 A-to-A cables to the switch and your computers or peripherals, then press the button to toggle the active path. No driver installation is needed. The main issue arises if users connect USB 2.0 cables or devices, which limits the link to lower speeds instead of the rated 5 Gbps.

Questions about this item

What type of USB cables do I need to connect two computers to the switch?

The unit ships with two 3.3 ft USB 3.0 A-to-A cables; plug each cable into a USB 3.0 port on the respective computer and the switch will be ready to share a single peripheral.

Will my existing USB 2.0 keyboard and mouse work when shared through this switch?

Yes, the switch supports USB 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1 devices, so older keyboards, mice or other peripherals will function normally when connected to the shared port.

How can I confirm the switch is actively passing data after I press the button?

A blue indicator on the front panel lights up to show data transfer status, letting you verify the selected computer or device is communicating.
