Two-port HDMI 2.0b switch with audio extraction

The ESTONE OZV2 routes two HDMI 2.0b sources to a single display at up to 3840 x 2160 resolution and 60 Hz refresh. It extracts embedded audio to optical Toslink, coaxial, RCA stereo and 3.5 mm analogue outputs, and passes through HDR and HDCP 2.2 signals. The aluminium enclosure measures 5.75 x 5.08 x 1.5 inches and weighs 8.8 ounces. A 5 V 1 A DC adapter and IR remote are included.

Replacing manual cable swapping or a basic splitter

This unit replaces the need to physically change HDMI cables when moving between two sources such as a game console and a media player. The jump is worth it when you want simultaneous audio extraction to a soundbar or AV receiver via Toslink or coaxial with ARC support, plus analogue stereo for headphones or powered speakers. It will not suit setups that require more than two inputs or automatic switching without the remote.

Straightforward desktop installation

Connect the two source devices to the HDMI inputs, the display to the HDMI output, and attach audio cables to the required extractor ports. Power the unit with the supplied adapter and use the IR remote to select the active input. Common issues include forgetting to enable ARC on the display for Toslink or coaxial return audio, and expecting the 3.5 mm or RCA outputs to carry multichannel formats — they deliver two-channel stereo only.
