Product identity

The ESTONE PQ003 is a USB4 cable with USB-C male connectors on both ends. It targets users who need a single cable for high-speed data, video output and up to 240 W charging across laptops, docks and phones.

Deciding specification

The cable delivers 40 Gbps data transfer under the USB4 Gen 3×2 standard and supports 240 W Power Delivery at 48 V and 5 A. Buyers who require Thunderbolt 3 compatibility or 8K 60 Hz display output will find this spec decisive; those needing only 10 Gbps or 100 W charging can use a simpler cable.

Thermals noise power

Passive copper construction means no fan noise and no active cooling requirement. The cable handles 240 W charging without generating noticeable heat during normal use. Power draw is determined entirely by the connected charger and device negotiation.

Questions about this item

What does the 40 Gbps rating actually deliver when the cable is plugged into a real machine?

The cable supports up to 40 Gbps data transfer under the USB4 Gen 3x2 standard, so large files such as HD video move at that ceiling when both host and device also support the same specification.

Which interface standard governs the connection and what does it limit in practice?

It uses the USB4 Gen 3x2 standard with Thunderbolt 3 compatibility, capping data at 40 Gbps and video at 8K 60 Hz or dual 4K 60 Hz when the host port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

What physical clearance or mounting does the 3.3 ft cable need to fit?

The cable is 3.3 ft long with USB C male connectors on both ends, so it only requires two free USB C ports and enough slack for the 3.3 ft run.
