Bandwidth reaches 40 Gbps with USB4 Gen 3x2 hosts, dropping to 20 Gbps on Gen 2 ports. Power delivery covers the full Extended Power Range: 240 W at 48 V / 5 A, plus backwards compatibility with 180 W, 140 W, 100 W and lower profiles. Video supports a single 8K 7680 x 4320 stream at 60 Hz or dual 4K 60 Hz outputs. The cable cannot exceed 40 Gbps or 240 W even if the host or charger offers more.
