ESTONE PQ106 USB C Extension Cable 2-Pack

This two-pack of ESTONE PQ106 cables extends USB-C connections by 3.3 feet. Each male-to-female cord carries USB 3.2 data at up to 10 Gbps, delivers up to 100 W of power at 20 V/5 A, and passes 4K video at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz. The black connectors are built for USB-C ports only and do not fit USB-A or USB Mini-B sockets.

Suits users who need extra reach for USB-C docks.

Buyers who require a USB-A connection or a Mini-B plug cannot use this cable. The extender also cannot add video-out capability to a host port that lacks DisplayPort Alt Mode, so systems without native USB-C video support will not gain it. Length is fixed at 3.3 feet per cable.

10 Gbps USB 3.2 data rate decides fit

This single figure determines whether the cable matches the speed of your peripherals and host controller. If your device operates at USB 2.0 speeds the link will still work but at the lower rate. The 100 W power and 4K 60 Hz video specs are dependent on the host and charger also supporting those levels.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the cable is delivering 10 Gbps transfer speed after connecting it?

Transfer a 5 GB file between devices; the cable supports up to 10 Gbps so the copy should complete in roughly 5 to 10 seconds if both host and peripheral support USB 3.2 Gen 2.

What comes in the 2-pack and are any extra adapters required for video output?

The box contains two 3.3 ft USB-C male-to-female extension cables; no extra adapters are included, but a USB-C Gen 2 host cable and a monitor with USB-C video input are needed for 4K at 60 Hz.

Which cable length or version should I choose for a MacBook Air 13 inch 2020 setup?

The 3.3 ft length in this 2-pack matches the listed specification and is compatible with MacBook Air 13 inch 2020; no other lengths or versions are offered for this model.
