It handles 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, with four USB 3.0 hub ports for peripherals such as printers or scanners. Front-panel buttons and a wired desktop controller provide instant source switching. The unit supports Windows, macOS, Linux and Unix without driver installation.

Replaces two separate monitor-and-peripheral sets

Instead of duplicating displays, keyboards and mice for each workstation, this switch consolidates them into a single console. The upgrade is worthwhile when desk space is limited or when a user regularly moves between a desktop and a laptop. Each connected computer must supply two DisplayPort outputs to drive both monitors in extended or mirrored mode.

Fits a dual-DisplayPort workflow

The switch requires a 12 V DC power adapter (included) and two DisplayPort cables per computer, none of which are supplied.
