Four-computer dual-monitor KVM

The ESTONE SW242-2HD lets one keyboard, mouse and two HDMI monitors control four computers. It switches both displays together so each PC sees the same monitor layout. Each computer must provide two HDMI outputs to use the dual-head function. The switch is aimed at multi-system workstations and test benches that need simultaneous screen space.

HDMI 2.0 bandwidth and resolution limits

Video passes through an HDMI 2.0 path with HDCP 2.2, capping at 4K 60 Hz or 2K 120 Hz. Lower timings such as 4K 30 Hz, 1080p 60 Hz and 720p 60 Hz are also accepted. The link cannot carry 4K at higher refresh rates or HDR metadata beyond the 2.0 spec. Auto-scan cycles every 30 seconds when enabled.

Metal chassis with front buttons and IR remote

The 5.43 x 5.35 x 1.46 inch enclosure weighs 9.52 ounces and runs from an included 12 V 1 A adapter. Four USB 3.0 type-A ports share peripherals across the active PC. Push buttons on the panel and a handheld IR remote both change the active computer. LEDs show the selected port at a glance.
