Four-Computer Dual-Monitor Control

The ESTONE SW243-2HD KVM switch lets four computers or laptops share one keyboard, one mouse and two HDMI monitors. It also passes through up to four USB 3.0 peripherals such as printers or scanners. Each connected computer must provide two HDMI outputs to use both displays.

Build Integration and Switching

The unit connects to each system with one HDMI 2.1 cable and one USB 3.0 Type-A cable, all supplied in the box. A 12 V 1 A external power adapter is required and included. Switching is done via front-panel push buttons or the bundled infrared remote; hotkey switching is not supported. The switch offers copy mode for mirrored screens and extend mode for independent content across the two monitors.

Thermals and Power in Use

An aluminium alloy shell dissipates heat passively with no fan, so operation is silent. The external adapter draws a maximum of 12 watts from the mains. LED indicators show the active port and power status. The compact 150 x 65 x 35 mm enclosure fits easily on a desk or in a rack shelf.
