It is built for users who need 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz across distances that copper cables cannot reach. The male-to-male connectors plug directly into graphics cards, monitors, projectors or VR headsets with full-size DisplayPort sockets.

Directional fibre installation requires correct

Fibre-optic DisplayPort cables are directional; the source and display ends are marked and must be connected accordingly. Reversing the cable will result in no signal. The slim, flexible jacket eases routing through conduit or behind walls, but the optical cores must not be kinked or bent below the minimum bend radius during installation.
