A 3.3 ft DisplayPort 1.4 male-to-female extension cable supporting 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 32.4 Gbps bandwidth with triple shielding and solid copper conductors
Cable Length 3.3 Feet
This 3.3 ft male-to-female cable extends an existing DisplayPort 1.4 link without adding a second cable run. It is built for gamers and media users who need the source device to sit further from the display than the stock lead allows. The extension preserves the full HBR3 bandwidth path up to 32.4 Gbps so the monitor still receives an uncompressed or DSC-compressed stream at the host’s native timing.
The link tops out at the HBR3 rate of 32.4 Gbps, which caps the maximum timing at 8K 7680×4320 at 60 Hz or 4K 4096×2160 at 144 Hz without compression. Higher refresh rates at 8K or 5K 5120×2880 beyond 60 Hz exceed the standard’s raw throughput and would require DSC or a lower colour depth, neither of which the cable itself can negotiate. The triple-shielded solid copper construction keeps signal integrity within spec at this length, but any longer run would push attenuation past the DisplayPort 1.4 eye-diagram limits.
The cable comfortably carries 4K at 144 Hz, 2K at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz for high-refresh gaming, and it handles 8K at 60 Hz for professional media playback. It runs out of headroom for 8K above 60 Hz or 5K above 120 Hz because the 32.4 Gbps ceiling is reached. Users needing 8K 120 Hz or 4K 240 Hz without DSC should look at a native DisplayPort 2.1 cable instead of an extension.

Other versions of this model
The 3.3 ft length keeps signal loss minimal for 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz; longer runs risk bandwidth drop-off at 32.4 Gbps.
It is the HBR3 ceiling — enough for 7680×4320 at 60 Hz, 3840×2160 at 144 Hz, or 2560×1440 at 240 Hz with HDR and DSC active.
DP 1.4 HBR3 tops out at 32.4 Gbps, so 8K 60 Hz, 4K 144 Hz, 1440p 240 Hz or 1080p 240 Hz are the highest supported combos.
