Bi-directional 8K HDMI 2.1 switch

The ESTONE TJ-A041 is a bi-directional HDMI 2.1 switch that operates as either a 2-in-1-out switcher or a 1-in-2-out splitter. It connects two source devices to one 8K display or routes a single source between two displays. Gamers using a PS5 or Xbox Series X can access 4K 120 Hz output on a compatible TV without swapping cables.

Sustained-load stability with PI3HDX1221 chip

The built-in PI3HDX1221 master chip handles 12,000 operations per second and performs overheat detection 14 times per second. This active monitoring prevents signal degradation during extended gaming or streaming sessions. Dual indicator lights show the active port so users can verify the connection status at a glance.

48 Gbps bandwidth and 3-metre cable limit

The switch delivers 48 Gbps bandwidth, supporting 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz with Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and 2.3, and DTS-HD Master Audio. HDMI cables on either side must not exceed 3 metres. If the source cannot supply enough power, the included DC 5 V micro-USB cable provides supplemental power.

Questions about this item

Does the ESTONE TJ-A041 generate noticeable heat or noise when switching 8K 60Hz signals all day?

The PI3HDX1221 chip runs 12,000 operations per second and performs overheat detection 14 times per second to keep the unit stable during continuous 48Gbps throughput.

What cables and power source must I already have to use the bi-directional 2.1 ports?

You need HDMI 2.1 cables no longer than 3 metres on each side and a USB micro-B port or charger for the included DC 5V power line when the source cannot supply enough current.

Will the switch pass Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.3 from my older PS4 or PC to a new 8K display?

Yes — the switch supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and 2.3, and DTS-HD Master Audio, so legacy sources keep their protected and high-dynamic-range signals intact.
