The ESTONE TJ-A051 is a 3.3Ft braided cable that converts a USB-C source into an HDMI 2.1 display connection. It delivers 48Gbps bandwidth and supports 8K at 30Hz, 4K at 120Hz, and 2K at 165Hz for laptops, tablets, and phones that output video over USB-C. The aluminium-alloy shell operates from -15°C to 55°C and carries HDCP 2.3, HDR, and DSC 1.2 signals without extra drivers.

Upgrade from older USB-C video cables

This cable replaces legacy USB-C to HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 leads that cap at 4K 30Hz or 4K 60Hz. The jump is worth it when your host and display both speak HDMI 2.1 and you need 48Gbps throughput for 8K 30Hz or high-refresh 4K 120Hz gaming. It will not add HDMI 2.1 capability to a host that only supports DisplayPort Alt Mode at lower bandwidths.

8K 30Hz and high-refresh 4K headroom

The link comfortably drives an 8K television at 30Hz or a 4K monitor at 120Hz with HDR and eARC audio return. Bandwidth runs out above 8K 30Hz, so 8K 60Hz, 10K, or multi-stream 8K setups are not supported. The male-to-male design also means it cannot be used in reverse from an HDMI source to a USB-C display.
