ESTONE TJ-A106 DP 1.4 Switch

The ESTONE TJ-A106 is a bi-directional DisplayPort 1.4 switch that routes 8K at 30Hz or 4K at 120Hz between two sources and one display, or one source and two displays. It supports 32.4Gbps bandwidth, HDR, 10-bit colour and high-bitrate audio. USB power is required for operation.

Replacing manual cable swaps

This switch removes the need to physically reconnect DisplayPort cables when moving between two PCs or two monitors. The jump is worth it when you regularly alternate between a workstation and a gaming rig, or between a primary monitor and a secondary screen, and want instant switching without signal loss. LED indication shows the active port.

DP 1.4 bandwidth and cable limits

The 32.4Gbps ceiling caps 8K to 30Hz and 4K to 120Hz; higher refresh rates at those resolutions are not possible. Total cable length between the switch and each device should not exceed 3m, otherwise flicker or signal drop-out can occur. The unit does not split the image — only one output is active at a time.
