8K@60 Hz and 4K@120 Hz headroom

The switch passes 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz, so modern consoles and high-refresh monitors run at their native rates. Dynamic HDR, VRR and full 4:4:4 chroma are supported across the 48 Gbps bandwidth. Performance scales down cleanly to 4K 60 Hz or 2K 30 Hz legacy sources.

HDMI 2.1 48 Gbps practical limits

The 48 Gbps link handles uncompressed 8K 60 Hz 4:4:4 but cannot exceed that ceiling, so dual-8K or 10K workflows are out of scope. Cable quality matters: certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cables are required for the top modes. The IR remote works up to 26 ft with direct line of sight; there is no automatic switching function.
