ESTONE TJ-A140 4-port HDMI 2.1 switch

The ESTONE TJ-A140 is a directional HDMI 2.1 switch that connects four source devices to a single display. It handles 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with 48 Gbps bandwidth. The unit supports HDR and compressed audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD. A handheld remote and automatic switching simplify input selection for gaming and home-theatre setups.

Verify your display and cable specifications

Ensure the target display accepts 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz over HDMI 2.1 and supports HDCP 2.2 for protected content. Each source must output a compatible resolution from the supported list: 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080p, 1080p 3D, 4K 120 Hz, or 8K 60 Hz. Use certified ultra-high-speed HDMI cables rated for 48 Gbps on every input and the output to maintain full bandwidth. The switch requires a DC 5 V 1 A power adapter connected to its dedicated port.

Sustained 48 Gbps signal integrity

The switch maintains the full 48 Gbps link during extended sessions without dropping back to 18 Gbps or 1536 MHz limited modes. Automatic source detection and IR indication remain responsive after prolonged use. LED status lights confirm active ports and power state continuously. The compact 12 by 6 by 0.08 inch enclosure dissipates heat passively while preserving signal quality for uninterrupted 8K or high-refresh 4K playback.

Questions about this item

Does the ESTONE TJ-A140 come with HDMI cables or a power supply in the box?

The package includes the 4-in-1-out switch unit only. Four HDMI 2.1 cables for your sources and one for the display plus a DC 5V/1A power adapter must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this 4-port model or look for a version with more inputs?

The TJ-A140 is offered only as a 4-input 1-output switch. If you need to connect more than four HDMI 2.1 sources simultaneously you would need a different model with additional ports.

What does the 48 Gbps bandwidth mean when I connect an 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz display?

The 48 Gbps link supports the full 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz signals with HDR and 4:4:4 colour, provided your source cables and display also meet the HDMI 2.1 specification.
