Questions about this item

Does the 12.0V 1800mAh Ni-MH pack run warm during continuous all-day use?

Normal operation stays cool; built-in overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection limits heat buildup during extended runs.

What must I already own for this 5442 replacement to function?

A device that accepts one of the listed compatible models such as 5442, 5747, 9-9606 or part numbers 1CVA155 and 1CVA125.

Will the 143.0 x 62.0 x 21.0 mm pack fit alongside older equipment using the same battery bay?

Yes — it matches the original dimensions and voltage, so it slots into existing bays for models like CG-9807, CG-9808 or CG-700 without modification.
