Questions about this item

Will the 12.0 V 3000 mAh pack fit the DTR-8500 Digital Transformer Ratiometer I already own?

Yes, this battery is built to the exact specifications of the original 2118.57 pack and is listed as compatible with the DTR-8500 and 8500 models.

How can I verify the battery is functioning correctly once installed?

The DTR-8500 should power on and hold a charge consistent with the 36.0 Wh rating; the built-in overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection will prevent unsafe operation.

Does the package include a charger or only the 12.0 V 3000 mAh Ni-MH battery itself?

Only the replacement battery pack is supplied; a compatible charger for the 12.0 V Ni-MH chemistry must be purchased separately.
